CHESHIRE MAN STEPHEN BEDSON ANNOUNCED AS LOCAL LEGEND AWARD WINNER

The results are in! Domino's, the nation's best-loved pizza, has finalised the winners of its Local Legend Awards - a search to find 60 outstanding key workers who have gone above and beyond for their communities in recent months. Among the lucky recipients of the coveted title is HGV tanker driver Stephen Bedson of Cheshire, who was selected from over 43,000 nominations across the UK and Ireland.

Stephen, who has worked throughout the year delivering flour to bakeries across the country, is one of 60 key workers to win the delicious prize of free pizza for not only themselves, but also for their household and colleagues, to enjoy every month for an entire year. Stephen, whose work is based in Liverpool, was nominated by his wife, Helen, for working throughout weekends to keep local communities fed as bread orders doubled earlier in the year. Key worker heroes nominated for the awards spanned a variety of professions, from doctors, pharmacists and ICU nurses, to teachers, childminders and delivery drivers.

Stephen, whose favourite pizza is the Meatfielder, said: "I was so grateful to have been nominated as a Domino's Local Legend, and to actually win the award is even better! It means so much to have my work recognised in this way. I cannot wait to share this amazing prize with my family and colleagues for the next 12-months too - as it really has been a team effort!"

Domino's received a total of 43,994 nominations for the Local Legends initiative. Local Legends, their households and colleagues will be able to enjoy free monthly Domino's deliveries for the next 12 months.
